Udext provides enhanced security controls to help protect your organization’s data, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enforcement and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Managing Security Settings

To access security features, go to Settings > Security.

From here, you can manage MFA enforcement and SSO settings.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enforcement

MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring users to verify their identity using a second method during login.

Enforcing MFA for Your Organization

Admins can require MFA for all users at the account level by selecting Manage Policy

When MFA enforcement is enabled:

  • All users are required to set up MFA

  • Users have a 24-hour grace period to complete setup

  • An email notification is sent to all users when enforcement begins

  • After 24 hours, users who have not set up MFA will be blocked from accessing the platform

Single Sign-On (SSO)

SSO allows users to securely log in using your organization’s identity provider through the SAML 2.0 protocol, enabling seamless and centralized authentication.

How It Works

Once enabled, users can log in through your organization’s SSO provider instead of using separate credentials for Udext. To enable Single Sign-On (SSO) or make changes to your current configuration, please contact our support team.
