Your Udext inbox is more than just a place to send and receive messages. It's a powerful tool designed to streamline internal communication, ensuring that every conversation is efficient, organized, and meaningful. Let's dive into some of the features that make your inbox a communication powerhouse.
Adding Notes to Conversations
Ever wanted to leave a note or a reminder about a particular conversation? With Udext, you can!
Open the conversation you want to add a note to.
Select the 'Note' option.
Enter your note. Remember, these notes are only visible to managers. Contacts won't see them.
Need to draw a fellow manager's attention to a note? Simply use "@" followed by their name to mention them.
Once done, click 'Send'. Your note is now attached to that conversation.
Sending Files
Sharing documents, images, or audio files? Udext has got you covered.
Click on the 'Paperclip' icon.
Select the file you want to send. Udext supports PDF, DOCs, JPG, PNG, and audio files.
Once you've chosen the file, Udext will generate a shortened URL for it. Click 'Send', and the recipient will receive the URL.
Sending Emojis
Add a touch of emotion to your messages!
Click on the 'Emoji' icon in your message box.
Browse through and select the emoji you want to use.
Click on the emoji to add it to your message.
Scheduling Messages
Want to send a message later? Let's schedule it!
Type out the message you want to send.
Click on the 'Schedule' option next to the send button.
Choose when you want the message to be sent.
Once set, click 'Done'. Your message will be sent automatically at the chosen time. All scheduled messages will be shown in green color in the inbox.
To cancel the scheduled message, click the 'Trash' icon.
Two-Way Translation
Break down language barriers with Udext's automatic translation.
If an employee's language preference was set during upload, all messages sent or received will be translated to that preferred language. For instance, if an employee replies in Spanish, Udext will translate it to English. As a manager, you'll see all conversations in English on your dashboard.
Click on the 'Globe' icon next to the sent message to see the translation.
To see the translation of the received message, click on the 'Globe' icon next to the received message.
Archiving Conversations
Keep your inbox organized by archiving old or less relevant conversations.
Choose the conversation you want to archive.
Click on the 'Archive' button or option.
If you receive a new message in an archived conversation, it will automatically become active again, ensuring you never miss an important message.
