Searching Messages in Conversations in Udext

Navigating through your conversations to find specific messages can be crucial for effective communication. Udext's search feature lets you quickly locate keywords in your conversations, whether in a particular chat or across all your contacts. Here's how to do it:

Accessing the Search Function

  1. Open Your Inbox: Start by accessing your Udext inbox.

  2. Locate the Search Icon: Find the Search Icon (πŸ”) located at the top of your inbox.

  3. Initiate Search: Click on the Search button to activate the search function.

Choosing the Search Scope

  1. For Specific Conversations: After clicking the Search Icon, you can select a specific conversation with an employee to search within that chat.

  2. For All Conversations: To search across all conversations, click on "Search All Contacts" after activating the search function. This allows you to search for keywords in conversations with all your contacts.

Conducting Your Search

  1. Enter Keyword: Type in the keyword or phrase you're looking for in the search bar.

  2. Execute Search: Press 'Enter' or click the search button to start the search.

Navigating Search Results

  1. View Results: The search will display instances where your keyword appears.

  2. Contextual Snippets: Alongside each result, you'll see a snippet of the conversation for context.

  3. Jump to Message: Click on any of the results to be taken directly to that part of the conversation where the keyword was mentioned.
