Keeping a record of your conversations can be vital for various purposes, from compliance to performance reviews. Udext makes it easy to export conversation histories with just a few clicks. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you export chat histories effectively.
Exporting the Conversation History
Navigate to Your Inbox: First, open your Udext inbox, where all your conversations are listed.
Access the Conversation: Select the conversation with the contact whose chat history you're trying to retrieve.
Find the Export Icon: Locate the 'Export' icon located within the inbox interface at the top right.
Initiate Export: Click on the 'Export' icon within the conversation. This action will automatically start the process of downloading the entire chat history with that contact in a PDF or Excel file format.
Understanding the Exported Data
The exported file will include the following details for each message:
Original Content: The exact text as sent or received.
Translation: If translation was applied, the translated version of the message.
Timestamp: The date and time each message was sent or received.
Message Direction: Indicating whether the message was inbound (received) or outbound (sent).
Sender's Details: The first and last name of the sender for each message.
