When files or images are sent through Udext, the system automatically converts them into URLs. Recipients receive these as clickable links.
Configuring Link Expiration Time
Access General Settings:
Go to the 'General Settings' in your Udext account.
Navigate to Link Expiration:
Find the option labeled "Link Expiration Time."
Choose Expiration Interval:
Select the desired time interval for link expiration. The available options are:
1 day
1 week
1 month
3 months
12 months
Forever (default setting)
By default, links are set never to expire ('Forever'). However, this can be changed to suit your organizational needs.
Applying Settings Organization-Wide
Unified Expiration Policy:
Changing the link expiration setting will apply organization-wide and impact all links shared through Udext, including Forms, Content, E-Signature documents, Files, and more. This ensures a consistent approach to link validity across all communications.
