Staying informed about the status of your messages is key to effective communication. Udext's inbox page now provides clear insights into whether your messages have been successfully delivered to your employees. Here's a simple guide to understanding message delivery statuses.

Checking Message Status in the Inbox

  1. Navigate to Inbox:

    • Go to the Inbox page in your Udext account to view the messages you sent.

Understanding the Two Statuses

  1. Delivered Status:

    • Messages marked with two ticks indicate a 'Delivered' status.

    • This means the message has not only been sent by our system but has also been successfully delivered to the contact's phone number.

  2. Sent Status:

    • A single tick represents a 'Sent' status.

    • This indicates that the message has been sent from our system to the carriers. However, in this case, we do not have a delivery confirmation.

    • The 'Sent' status typically means the message is in transit. Due to varying carrier processes, we might not receive a delivery receipt immediately or at all.

Clarifying the 'Sent' Status

  • Understanding Carrier Limitations:

    • It's important to note that the 'Sent' status does not necessarily mean the message wasn't delivered. It simply reflects that our system has successfully dispatched the message, but the delivery confirmation is pending or not available from the carrier.

    • This status is common in scenarios where carrier systems do not provide instant feedback on message delivery.

Ensuring Effective Communication

By understanding these statuses, you can better gauge the reach of your messages and ensure effective communication with your team. The Delivered and Sent statuses in Udext provide valuable insights into the message delivery process, helping you stay informed and responsive.
